Why do I need to register?

How do I place an ad?

Click on "Place an Ad" on the menu. This will take you to the login screen. Enter your username and your password in the appropriate fields then click "Submit".

If you need to register, you can click the "Need to Register?" link then enter your registration information on the next page.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" link. On the next page, enter the e-mail address that you used during registration. Your password will be changed to an automatically generated password and mailed to you. Once you receive the new password via e-mail, use it to log on then immediately click on "Change your details" on the left side and change your password to whatever you'd like it to be.

Once you're logged in, click on "Place an Ad" on the menu on the left or on the menu bar at the top. Select the ad package that you want. On the next page, select the category for your item and click "Add Listing". Fill out the "Add Listing" screen including the Title, Price, Category and Description then click "Add Listing". If you selected an ad package that includes photos, see "How do I upload photos?" below.

How do I upload photos?

Once you've clicked on "Place an Ad" and you've logged in, select an ad package that includes photos. Fill out the "Add Listing" screen including the Title, Price, Category and Description then click Add Listing. You'll next see the Add Images screen. Enter a Title for the photo then enter the image location (e.g. c:\myphotos\pic1.jpg) or browse to select the photo. Once you have entered the location of the file or selected it, click Add Image. You'll next see a dialogue that indicates the file is uploading. Repeat the process for the successive images.

How Do I Buy an Item?
Buying an item through Moms Classifieds is as easy and straightforward as buying something at a neighborhood yard sale or newspaper classifieds. You simply search through the categories that interest you and then click on a selection to read more details about the item, its price and availability.

To buy, you can email the seller by clicking on the "Concact Seller" link. It just doesn’t get much easier than this.

Can the Price of an Item be Negotiated?
Sometimes. Remember – it never hurts to ask. Many sellers are open to negotiations, but are not required to. The seller may choose to designate an item as "fixed price" or “firm”, which indicates that he/she is not willing to negotiate.
